Tracy Aviary

We took another trip to the Tracy Aviary to check out the birds again. It's been about a year or so since we went there last.

Feeding the ducks

He thought it was pretty cool getting to feed the ducks. He loved that there were some that came right up to the fence to get food.

Welcome Home!

I can't think of a much better way to celebrate the 4th of July than to welcome my brother and his unit home from their 1 year deployment to Afghanistan!

I think that's Will in the center of the front row

a GREAT BIG hug from his mommy!
His wife is still deployed to Iraq :'(

My two brothers.... I'm sure Will is very happy to back in his own home again

God Bless all our Troops! And Prayers for safe returns for all of them, especially my sister-in-law Janice, brother-in-law Eric and his nephew Micheal, and my nephew Klint!

4th of July!

For the 4th of July we went to Cedar to spend it with Chris' "Bestest Buddy"/cousin. He sure loves his Scotty. Here's the 3 kiddos at the Fire Station getting ready to go on the fire truck.

Cutest lil USA Cheerleader EVER!

Yes Chris got a mohawk hair cut.... I figured it's summer and he's been asking for one... so what the heck I let him. We have colored spiker glue so he got a red, white and blue mohawk!

The boys trying to hold Ashley down

Ashley, Mary, Chris and Scotty with Sparky... yeah Ashley was not thrilled about Sparky

On the fire truck, ready to head out to the parade

practicing waving

"Are you talking to me?"

ok then.... CHEESE!

forget waving, I'm going to just suck on my fingers

along the parade route

heading back to the fire house

hugging Ashley! He sure loves his cousins

After we got back to the fire house we jumped back in the car and heading back to watch more of the parade. The fire trucks were first, so we were able to catch most of the rest of the parade

Scott and Chris "dancing" with the high school drill team... pretty entertaining!

Happy Birthday to my favorite Lil Sister Mary

the Red, White and Blue catapiller cake I made for Mary... turned out pretty cute I think!

Swim Lessons

Its summer time and time for more swim lessons!! Chris is super EXCITED to do swim lessons again this year. We put him in Preschool Level 3 again this year to be kind of a refresher course. He passed this level and is off to Level 1 next week. I decided to have him do every other session this year, so he'll swim for two weeks, get two weeks off, until he finishes 3 sessions.

on the last day they did life jacket training

learning how to float on his back with the life jacket on

swam back to the side of the pool

swimming with the life jacket
